individual Lessons

Choose from 1 of 6 Issue-specific lessons that will allow you to directly address your dog’s primary behavioral issue or situation. Through the self-evaluation, you will choose 1 from the following options:

Hyperactivity
If your dog is exhibiting the signs of hyperactive energy, chances are that some of his needs are unfulfilled. You will learn how you can improve your ability to meet your dog's needs by providing exercise, ignoring attention-seeking behavior and projecting calm-assertive energy.
Anxiety
Anxious dogs need a calm and assertive pack leader to show them that it is okay to relax. You will learn how to maintain the balanced energy your dog needs and use the "no touch, no talk, no eye contact" rule to make your dog feel more secure. Additionally, separation anxiety will be specifically discussed.
Fear
Fear can develop for different reasons including low self-esteem and stressful surroundings. Learn how you can change yourself, your dog, and your dog's environment to help your dog overcome his fear. The lesson will guide you in developing a strategy for rebuilding your dog's self-esteem.
Aggression
This informational lesson helps you through the first critical steps in dealing with aggression: understanding the two main types of aggression, identifying your dog’s aggression type, finding the right trainer and then becoming an integral and positive part of the rehabilitation process.
New Dog
This lesson helps you prepare and make the best transition to dog ownership – including selecting the right dog, handling regular dog necessities, plus catching and addressing behavior issues early. Start out on the right paw with your new best friend!
Puppy
Getting a puppy is an exciting event! This lesson helps you find the right puppy and understand how to raise it in a balanced way, including how to prevent behavior problems escalating and dealing with common dog situations.
